1. New Business

-               Welcome back to the committee, David!  Thank you for your service.

-               The 3D Print Club has run out of room in the Prototyping Studio.  Newly arrived printers are located in the Demonstration Studio.

-               In February, the door lock system will be moved to the centrally-managed Blackboard system.  We will lose some control, but the administrator has agreed to allow us some privileges.  We will no longer be able to lock down our doors from B122.

-               Reviewed COE 2017 Injury data, with a focus on keeping the ENE community safe.

o   Stressed the likelihood of these injuries happening to our faculty, staff and students.

-               Establishing plans for the safe evacuation of students with mobility issues was discussed.

2. Review of College of Engineering Safety Committee Meeting Minutes

-               January COE meeting cancelled.

3. Review of Open Safety Items List

-               Continuing discussions with the other schools in Armstrong, Kerry Ticen and Phil Qualio about combining resources to purchase an AED for WANG.  The PUFD is a resource that can help us assess the best location in the building.  Estimated one-time cost of $1800 and an annual cost of about $300.

4. Review of Near Miss Log

-               No near misses to report.
